WHS Officer (12-month parental leave cover)

This role is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and embedding of the Safety Management System including the provision of Work Health & Safety (WHS) support across the Harbour Trust.

This is a 12-month parental leave cover with the potential to be extended. Commencing at the end of July 2024, this role has been classified at Level 6 which attracts a salary $92,551 to $107,110 (excluding superannuation). The closing date for applications is 16 June 2024. Education & Engagement Program Assistant

The Education and Engagement Program Assistant is required to take an active role in driving new and repeat bookings for both schools and private tour groups using different strategies, such as cold-calling groups and, as required, liaising with the Bookings Officers. The role also requires completing various administrative tasks under the direction of the Education and Engagement Program Officer, such as market research, writing information sheets and other small projects. The setting up and packing down of equipment and resources, such as furniture and other materials, is also required.

This is a part-time 4 days per week (Tuesday to Friday), non-ongoing position for 12 months. The role is classified as a Level 2 with a salary of $67,723 (excluding superannuation). Education Program Guide (casual)

The Education Program Guide is responsible for communicating the history and significance of Harbour Trust sites (predominantly Cockatoo Island but including other sites as required) mainly through program tours to primary and high school groups and students at a Tertiary level.

The Education Program Guide is responsible for communicating the history and significance of the Harbour Trust properties, while linking this to the relevant NSW Syllabus for primary and high school students or relevant program outcomes for Tertiary students. Education programs for school students are linked to NSW Syllabus and Australian Curriculum Outcomes. All education programs have been developed to ensure student engagement, connection, and historical learning.

This is a casual position and is classified as a Level 2 with a hourly rate of $34.62, plus 25% loading, penalty rates and superannuation. This is a talent pool and will be assessed on monthly basis.

Public Program Guide (casual)

The Public Program Guide is responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable visitor experience while communicating the history and significance of the Harbour Trust sites, including Cockatoo Island and Sub Base Platypus. Tour groups comprise of the general public, families and special interest groups.

This is a casual position and is classified as a Level 1 with an hourly rate of $32.58, plus 25% loading, penalty rates and superannuation. Leasing Executive

The Leasing Executive will assist the Manager – Property and Leasing Management and the Head of Property and Leasing Management with prospecting potential lessees, actioning new leases, maintaining records, and managing lease renewals and provide general leasing management of properties across all Trust sites.
