Taking place on Sunday 4 September (Father’s Day), the Manly Rotary Fun Run & Walk includes options for participants of varying abilities. There is a 2km course that leads people along Manly’s beachfront, a 5km course that zigs and zags around the broader suburb, and a 10km ‘Runners Challenge'.
Participants who register for the 10km course will test their mettle on a course that showcases the natural beauty of North Head / Car-rang-gel on Manly’s Peninsula. Highlights from this course include the bush-lined North Head Scenic Drive and the historic Q Station as well as Australia’s Memorial Walk at North Head Sanctuary – a coastal parkland and former military site protected by the Harbour Trust
All funds raised (including entry fees) will go directly to the Rotary Club of Manly who ensure that every cent goes to charitable causes. The Rotary Club is made up of a group of volunteers who work to help the community with capital works projects. Learn more about the Rotary Club here.
