Notice of light testing at Sub Base Platypus

Across two nights in early February, a specialist lighting consultant will test the lighting at Sub Base Platypus to ensure it meets the relevant standards. The first night of light testing is scheduled to take place on Monday 3 February or Tuesday 4 February, depending upon weather conditions.

On 26 January, Kevin McCann, former Chair of the Harbour Trust was awarded with the prestigious Officer of the Order Award and his name added to the list of Australia Day Honourees for 2020.

Bushfire safety information for visitors

Bushfires are currently affecting some parts of Australia. Our thoughts are with impacted communities as well as firefighters and frontline services facing the bushfires. Many destinations across Australia remain safe and are welcoming of visitors, including all of the Harbour Trust’s sites. However, we encourage you to refer to Tourism Australia online information hub ahead of your next visit.

The NSW Government declared a State of Emergency, lasting for a period of seven days, due to worsening fire conditions predicted for this week.

Harbour Trust approves Amendment of Draft Management Plan for Mosman Drill Hall Precinct and Lighting of Outdoor Netball Courts (media release)

On 5 December, Members of the Harbour Trust, approved an amendment to the Draft Management Plan for the Mosman Drill Hall Precinct and to install lighting on three existing outdoor netball courts.

The Harbour Trust has approved an amendment to the Management Plan for the Mosman Drill Hall Precinct as well as a planning application from Mosman Council for the installation of floodlighting of outdoor sports courts.
