Since becoming custodian of eight harbourside lands for the people of Australia, we have been carefully planning for the future of these significant places. The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust’s Comprehensive Plan was approved by the Minister for Environment and Heritage in September 2003.
The Comprehensive Plan aims to weave these magnificent harbour lands back into the life of the city. Their cultural heritage will be conserved, the environment protected and maximum public access provided to the lands.
Our team of highly skilled and well respected architects, planners, urban designers and landscape designers is working with the broad Sydney community on implementing this plan.
Following approval from the Minister for Environment, Heritage and the Arts, the Harbour Trust has up to 2033 to implement the plan.
